Community Outreach

Blue Ball Dog Nutrition supports charitable non-profit assistance dog organizations in providing our nutritious diets during training and are available to be purchased after placement. Our diets are designed to support healthy hip & joints, immune system, brain health and development, digestive system, and heart health. Our diets are designed to give the energy and nutrition to these wonderfully smart dogs to support their training and their cause.

Assistance dogs enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities and injuries. It takes the work of a committed team of certified trainers, volunteer trainers, puppy raisers, technicians, and support from the community to make this all possible. Dogs go through extensive training to prepare them to support a person with a disability or injury.

Donations from the community help put therapy dogs in schools, treatment centers, disaster relief, retirement facilities, and more.

Blue Ball Pet Nutrition supports therapy dog training organizations by offering our complete and balanced performance diets based on expert nutrition to therapy dogs in training free of charge to approved organizations.

New Hope Assistance Dogs Inc. is a non-profit organization in Warren, PA, that provides custom-trained assistance dogs for seizure, mobility, hearing, PTSD-related issues, and a multitude of other disabilities for both children and adults.

These 4-pawed friends will perform tasks and help empower you to gain greater independence and freedom that would otherwise require reliance on a human caregiver. This helps to enhance the quality of life for the individual. Some of the tasks may include retrieving items from a fridge or dryer, picking up items that have been dropped, opening/closing doors, fetching the phone or remote control, or alerting another individual in the event of an emergency. Although the tasks are helping to achieve higher self-esteem, the bond that is formed with the 4-pawed friend is far superior to many relationships they have ever had. Many clients suffer from autism, PTSM, depression, anxiety, and loneliness. These emotions tend to subside when they feel the unconditional love of a 4-pawed assistant or companion dog.
